The Original Music Viedo, 'Come Up And See Me' - Steve Harley and Cockney Rebels

The style of the band in the video and the set is very colourful and bright, but challenges the conventions for the pop/rock genre. The costumes of the band members are shown below.

Ofcourse the clothing is dated as the video is from the 1970's, but the costume is colourful and quirky and does in some ways portray the conventions of pop- as the colours are the primary colours, but this is not so much rock.
The setting of the video is on a stage with bright colours, to make the band stand out and look 'cool' - this could be a similar setting to Group Therapy's video, with use of bright colours to make the band stand out.

The setting is quite child like as there is block colours and blocks which are placed around the stage. I believe this makes it visually appealing to all ages. The simple set also focuses the attention on the band members. I think this is important as it shows the audience the band memebers as a group and individually.
